This was a fun faux-christmas idea by the good people at Quiet Storm. Taking such a classic song, which you can hear everywhere at Christmas, and re-recording it with a very different lyrical sentiment while staying true to the style and sound, for release on xmas day, for a non xmas product / brand.

After clearing the publishing rights, we arranged a version that fit perfectly into the available 29 seconds. Then recorded strings, drums, flutes, piccolos, clarinets, brass... backing vocals with the Swingle Singers and lead vocal with acclaimed vocalist Richard Shelton who played a celebrated role as Frank Sinatra in the West End performance 'Rat Pack Confidential'. Giving us an authentic big band sound in an unexpected context.
