The agency were looking for an authentically Celtic sounding piece that was not hammy and obvious (bagpipes and fiddles etc), which could be treated to sound vintage in the first part of the film to show the passing of time. Sometimes library can do these jobs just as well as commercial tracks or compositions ! Nice little project.
